Boiler Works A/S is established on a solid foundation which bears the mark of many years experience in the manufacture and assembly of small and large power systems, industrial systems, biomass boilers and waste destruction facilities. Boiler Works A/S is situated in a district with good, stable and well-educated people who are hard-working and enthusiastic. The factory (TØMA A/S) has existed since 1959 and has had various owners both locally and from abroad. During the entire time, the factory has maintained its position as the leading manufacturer of components for high pressure and temperature systems for the most advanced pressurized installations in the world. In Scandinavia in particular and not least in Germany, we have had numerous orders ranging from individual components to complete power plant boilers. Training, working environment, consideration of our common environment and quality in everything we do, have always been a part of our policy. Since the beginning, more than 400 young people have been given good and solid training which has placed them in demand everywhere. In 1960,Burmeister & Wain, - which already in 1955 had the Benson licence to build the large power plants - entered into a production agreement with TØMA A/S. The development of the cooperation was so positive that Burmeister & Wain took over the share majority and later formed the company Burmeister & Wain Energi BWE A/S with engineering in Virum and production in Tønder. In 1980, BWE A/S was sold to Ferdinand Lentjes Stiftung in Düsseldorf and in 1992 merged with the corresponding division in Deutsche Babcock in the new group Babcock Lentjes Kraftwerkstechnik. In 1997, BWE A/S was bought by Fls Industries and merged with Flsmiljø a/s. In 2002, the original BWE A/S was dismantled, split and sold to several parties. Boiler Works A/S was created on the basis of the factory in Tønder and all assembling activities. Boiler Works A/S has specialized in the manufacture and delivery of high pressure components to power plants, waste and biomass burning plants, industrial and petrochemical plants. The high-pressure components include piping systems, membrane walls, headers, etc. Our stock contains the most ordinary boiler pipes for repair tasks.
